The New Trailer Is Out For The Short Film “FUGUE.”
I recently had the opportunity to be part of the production of a new independent short film titled “FUGUE.” I play the character of Officer Slade, a police officer who becomes involved in the investigation surrounding the strange disappearance of a man named Jonathan, played by John Patrick Clark.
At first, the situation appears to be a fairly straightforward missing-person investigation. But, as with most good mysteries, things aren’t always what they seem. As Officer Slade begins looking into what happened to Jonathan, it becomes clear that there is much more going on beneath the surface. What initially appears to be one thing slowly begins to reveal something very different.
This was a fun project to be involved with, and I always enjoy getting the opportunity to step away from the production side of things and get in front of the camera. Over the years, I’ve worked on a wide variety of projects—from commercials and video production to independent films and other creative productions—and every project brings something different to the table.
For me, that’s one of the things I enjoy about acting. You get to step into someone else’s world for a little while and tell a story from a perspective that isn’t necessarily your own. With Officer Slade, I had the opportunity to play a character who is trying to piece together a mystery while dealing with information that doesn’t necessarily add up. Those kinds of characters are always interesting because you don’t necessarily know where the story is going to take you until you get there.
“FUGUE” was directed by Rachel Hutchings and shot by James Gaszak, and I’m looking forward to seeing the finished film and sharing it with everyone.
The film is currently expected to be ready for viewing sometime in May, so stay tuned for more information about where and how you can watch it.
