So the weekend of the 12th of April marked a new adventure for my Nashville Rocks brand. I was able to take part in an event called ROCKNPOD. This event calls in rock artists, podcasters and vendors who cater to the rock music industry all under one roof.
I was put on a list to get multiple 15 minute interviews throughout the day with notable artists and no-so-notable ones. Some were huge in their day and some are just getting started, but to be in a room with so much talent was certainly a pleasure.
My first interview of the day was none other than Robert Fleischman of JOURNEY fame. He was a large part of the framework that turned Journey into the band we all know and love. His contributions to the band and his writing of Wheel In The Sky and Anytime made him an instant celebrity and carried him through his storied career.
He’s got a new release out now that honestly sounds alot like old Peter Gabriel, but it is definitely an experience and worth a listen to the whole album.
